Gordon Murray might not be a common name to hear for some of you, but he did developed an impressive vehicle with some very impressive figures environment-wise. T.25 City Car is his child product, and weighting at 1200 pounds, its getting 74mpg with its iStream eigne, a marvelous number.

With the price of $9,000 it even comes with customizable interior with enough room for three person, with the driver at the center front, while two (albeit petite) people can squeeze in behind the back room. Electric version is on the road map, but comes at a steeper price of $18,000. Though, I seriously doubt the safety of the design.

The cars are built using an efficient process that first attaches most of the car’s parts to the chassis, and then adds a pre-painted body as a last step, similar to the way Formula One vehicles are built.
