Russian Roverpad has a heart of a Tegra, 5 models to rule them all.

I thought the Russians are only good at tennis and warheads, but apparently their Silicon Valley is getting bumped up very nicely. A month ago Taiwanese companies are throwing all their slates into the Computex Expo, and suddenly the wind died down. But now, the Russian computer Rover Computer is ready to mingle around the slate market with not one, not two, but five new models for nearly everyone to dance around.
Five new models are going to hit retail shelves this October, ranging from 4-inch to 7-inch. Let’s take a look at them.
- Air G70 – 7-inch resistive touchscreen, 667MHz ARM11 CPU, 256MB of RAM, 4GB internal flash drive, WiFi, optional 3G and a microSD expansion slot.
- Go G50 – 5-inch slate, powered by Marvell PXA303, 128MB of RAM, 2GB of storage as well as 3G, WiFi, a microSD slot and a USB socket.
- Go G72 – 4-inch panel (800 x 480), support for a multitude of file formats, compatible with navigation software.
- Go G72 – 7-inch panel, with webcam and Bluetooth, GPS chip, colored corner band.
- TegA W70 – 7-inch capacitive touchscreen powered by NVIDIA Tegra, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of flash storage, 3G capable, build-in webcam, HDMI port, and runs on Android 2.1.
So far there’s no pricing announcement yet. But there’s still some time to go to reach October.
