Yes, from now on, whenever you’re in the urge of updating your Facebook and your phone’s battery’s dried out, search on the floor for some dimes and dial 1800-FACEBOOK at your nearest public phone, key in your username and password, and key in your status before the airtime runs out!

Ha, bet you’re wondering if the public phone supports Twitter updates or not. But no, it doesn’t. In fact, to update your status from the public phone, you still need a computer with internet connectivity. What a bummer! This Statusvia.net lets you tweak your update status’s “via…” with a small range of options. Some are rather straight forward, for poor jerks like me who can’t afford an iPhone or a BB and still wanna show off to anonymous ‘friends’ in your Facebook friends list.

Check out the site, as there’s some wacky options that’ll maybe put a on your friends’ face. Some are blatantly stupid, but a couple of them might make you giggle for a bit. However, the site is in Indonesian language, so some words might not be recognizable. But then, we have Google Translate, so what’s the worry?
