Can’t wait for the iPhone 4 white? Then DIY it yourself!

As much as we have to wait rather long for the new iPhone 4 white, some people couldn’t stand the wait, and went to do things their way. Such would be Engadget, who used the iFixit guide on tearing down the iPhone 4 and DIY their unit to a white. That is of cause with the help of some spare parts delivered from the Chinese.

Stuff used is like a new white front cover, a new white back cover, and a Retina Display unit. The only thing that’s not changed is the black button, as they can’t find any white color buttons.

Check out Engadget’s website on the rundown of the DIY process, as well as the links to get the parts, if you’re so impatient.
