Motorola prepares to launch monster size Droid X.

Something that Moto-Moto wishes to have in the ring with HTC Evo 4G, the Droid X is the Evo’s direct competitor. Its monstelicious in size, and comes with the 4.4inch touchscreen. You can look at its massiveness in the photo, where it totally covers up a person’s palm.
Here’s some hard spec from Engadget, as they have the real thing for review at the moment.
- 4.4-inch, FWVGA 854 x 480-resolution screen (damn it’s gigantic!)
- Android 2.1 with Motorola’s in-house “Motoblur” (something like what HTC Sense UI does)
- 8-megapixel camera
- Ability to record 720p video
- Multitouch keyboard
- 1GHz ARMv7 processor
- 8GB of storage space at the moment
