The Cliff House in Japan

When there’s not much land left for house, you can still choose a cliff a house. Take a look at this cliff house in Japan. It has been there for 40 years and there’s no problem with the structures. And It is presumably sturdy enough to have survived some moderately strong earthquakes. Video after the break.

“There isn’t a lot of flat land in the port of Kure, so the Fukudas decided to buy the hillside land and use metal girders to support a house where one normally would not be built.”
