Nokia has confirmed a new smaller version of Nokia N97 called the N97 mini which will be shipped in October next month. The N97 mini features 3.2″ touch display, QWERTY keyboard, fully customizable homescreen, and also comes with premium content from Lonely Planet/Michelin and supports a new Ovi Service called Lifecasting. Compare to its brother N97, this mini version has a smaller screen, small built-in storage and shorter battery life.

The Nokia N97 mini will be available for an estimated price of EUR 450 before taxes and subsidies. More after the break.

    I think the touch-screen algorithms of this n97 mini phone is improved for better performance, and I did feel like the display was more responsive. You also now get kinetic scrolling for pages and menu items, so when you reach the end or top of the list, it snaps back like elastic.
