Magellan is going to release its RoadMate 1700 navigation gadget. It comes with a 7-inch display with 6 million points of interest, AAA Tour Book, maps of North America, text-to-speech and multiple-point routing capability. Pre-order available now at $299, expected to be shipped sometime this fall.
