Videos of iPhone 3G S unlocked version

The iPhone 3G S official launch day will be on the June 19th but someone got it in hand a little earlier. The Brazilian site called MyDock.com.br has posted up the unlocked iPhone 3G S, they have posted some videos up in YouTube, showing the iPhone working on other network providers and to prove that it is real iPhone 3G S, they are showing you the applications and also the 3MP camera. I want to get the 3Gs butam not sure whether to get a contract or an unlocked version? Which would you suggest?
if the contract has a great plan why not but if too expensive then get an unlocked
