April 18th, 2009

Sunbeam Tiger Concept is designed by Ryan Skelley. It is a two-seater sports car inspired by 1925 Sunbeam Tiger Land Speed Record car.

“Designer Ryan Skelley is a design student of Coventry University creates it to celebrate the centenary of the original Sunbeam (1925-2025)”

The Sunbeam Tiger is powered by an electrical engine, boosting from 0 to 60mph in 2.3-seconds, achieving top speed of 160mph and a single charge will go for 800 miles. You can get the charging done in 4 hours. This concept car is made of eco materials: recycled aluminum tubular chassis, soy foam seats with Biofabric, vegetable oil resin body panels. More pictures after the break.
