The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the world’s first Symbian S60 5th Edition touchscreen add Nokia’s first proper attempt at a dedicated touchscreen handset. “The touch system has been implemented very well, with easy to grab scroll bars, sensibly sized buttons, haptic feedback and a clever double tap system for selecting options, lowering any chance of making an error.

There’s a tiny proximity sensor at the corner of the front panel which will help to turn the display off when you lift the phone to your ear on a call, so you accidentally end a call when your chubby cheek touches a button on its touchscreen.”
