Samsung M3110

Here’s a new basic phone from Samsung which won’t sport any high-end features, it is the Samsung M3110. It comes with 1.3-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm jack and an external display of 96 x 96 and an internal display of 120 x 160. The phone will be priced at $180 sans subsidies and will come in purple, blue, green and lemon-orange colors. It is not confirmed to have a Bluetooth connectivity on this phone but there are rumors saying that it has one.

Is it possible to have a large display screen on a smaller phone? Yes, Samsung SDI has shown their foldable AMOLED display prototype during the FPDI 2008. It consists of 2 pieces of thin AMOLED displays placed side by side and they will create an almost perfect large WQVGA display screen. But you can still see a thin line between the two displays. Energy Sistem’s 4040 Touch PMP

Here’s Energy Sistem’s 4040 Touch portable media player. It has a a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a built-in microphone, an FM tuner, and supports various audio and video file formats. The 4040 priced at €120. Oh yeah, there are also 5020 and 5021 models, which taking off the touchscreen and reduced the storage to 4GB ~ these PMPs will cost somewhere around €85.
