Gigabyte has launched its GV-R487D5-1GG in Japan, it is the latest Radeon HD 4870 which boasts both 1GB 256bit GDDR5 or VRAM, tuned Zalman Heat sink and Fan as well as both DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. This PCI Express 16x card supports ATI CrossFireX and also feature UVD 2 (Unified Video Decoder 2) with ATI Avivo HD Video, PIP, Blu-Ray with Dual-Stream. It will be available in Japan in a week time for ¥35600 that’s less than 300€.
