I saw the Samsung INNOV8 at the store last week, priced around $840 and it’s unlocked, but I haven’t seen the Samsung Pixon M8800 around yet. Recap, the Samsung Pixon M8800 has been claimed as the slimmest full-touch 8.0-megapixel camera phone. Measuring 13.8mm slim, and the 8.0-megapixel camera boasts 16x digital zoom, auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection and geo-tagging.

The Samsung Pixon M8800 is already in several countries but not all, first in France in the mid-October and then to most of European countries and Asian countries, they said that it will be released in the UK market by the end of this month.

The Samsung Pixon M8800 is actually the successor to the Samsung F480, not the INNOV8 obviously (as INNOV8 has been released not long ago). The selling point for this phone will be its 8.0-megapixel camera, autofocus and flash, face/smile/blink detection, panoramic shooting, image stabilization and shake reduction software, all these features were found on a proper point-and-shoot cameras. So with this phone, you don’t have to bring a digital camera out anymore unless you going for a professional shooting with those dSLR.
