Something goes interesting today, someone replaced the brain of Xbox 360 with an old Apple PowerBook G4. This casemod is done by Modder Phil Herlihy and he decided on the name Xbox G4. The system is powered by 867MHz G4 processor and features a built-in 60GB hard drive. There’s no way to get the Xbox DVD tray working, so an Apple Combo drive was installed at the side of the console which require a cut at the side. Oh yeah it can be run on a rechargeable battery which I think that’s cool. More pictures after the break.
