Samsung officially announced its M8800

September 26th, 2008

Remember the Samsung Bresson M8800? Samsung has officially announced it today, not Bresson but called the Pixon. Samsung M8800 is the first Pixon series with high megapixel camera.

The Samsung Pixon M8800 is a Quadband GSM phone that comes with HSDPA connectivity and built-in GPS but no WiFi.

The built-in GPS can only be used in geo-tagging your photo, you can’t use it for GPS navigation. The 8.0-megapixel camera module is capable of doing video recording in either 720×480 pixels (30 FPS), VGA (30 FPS) or QVGA (120 FPS) resolution. A flash LED has been equipped so you can take good picture in dark places.
