I heard some news that several shops are marking up the price of PSP-2000 soon as the upcoming PSP-3000 has a better security against piracy, yeah those pirated games are not supported.

Another issue is about the battery,

Sony America’s hardware marketing director John Koller did mention that “we should expect shorter battery life in the PSP 3000, perhaps as much as 20 to 30 minutes shorter.”

Now he has taken back his words, his new announcement: “I’d like to make a correction and clarify that the new PSP will have equivalent battery life to the current PSP, about four to six hours for games and about four to five hours for UMD videos.”

PSP 3000 is arriving next month on the 15th in Europe for €199.
