Softbank Japan has added the Hitachi W61H to its offerings. W61H is the world’s first clamshell to come with a 2.7-inch e-ink display on the back which nicknamed ‘Silhouette screen’. There are 95 patterns of screen fro you to choose from but unfortunately the display can’t show text messages or email. The Hitachi W61H comes with a very sharp 2.7 inch 240×400 pixel display with Hitachi’s Woo (a technology used in LCD TV’s), 100MB of internal memory, micro SD card slot, Felica for making wireless payments and EZ Nabi Walk or personal GPS to help you find the way in streets. Besides that, W61H also comes with seg tuner, allowing you to watch digital TV on the go with support for recording along with an EPG (Electronic programming guide). You can choose the Hitachi W61H in three colors green, white and black and you will be able to see this in Japanese market this May. More pictures after the jump.
