Hello Kitty AR-15 Assault Rifle

January 24th, 2008

Drew at Armory Airbrush normally paints camouflage patterns on rifles but this time he came out with something different, the Hello Kitty AR-15 assault rifle. One more shot after the jump.

they are probably in banifornia ie: no pistol grips because it makes the weapon more deadly, just like those evil barrel shrouds… you know that thing that goes up….

    Love it! Very creative. :-)

To the multitude of responses about this weapon on other forums, I ask this…

If guns kill people, can I blame my pencil for my misspelled words and grammar mistakes?

    Funny but irresponsible.

Remember the main argument gun grabbers use is “it for the children!”.

Well a gun like this would be attractive to a child.

(BTW, we should ban for the same argument buckets, swimming pools, high school sports. I wonder how many Jewish children died in Germany because the Jews were not armed.)

That is a pretty sweet rifle. I thought about buying one for my daughter so she could show it to her boyfriends.

Sexy sexy sexy. Only one thing sexier than a girl holding an M-16 (look alike), and that’s one that’s custom painted for her.

As far as it being attractive to kids, kids are attracted to everything, no matter the color. Kids don’t play with just guns that are pink. And most kids that wind up having an incident are ignorant of guns, they have not been taught about them. You hardly hear of a kid that has hunted all his life have an incident with a gun.

Yes It is pretty to show off but lets be realistic in the fact that pink would stand out a mile away making you & the weapon extremely vulnurable to attack plus the 223 or 5.56 round is not powerful enough to do distance damage , A Sniper would take you and your pink puff out before you could say bye bye,That Pink is like saying here i am ,here i am,Do you people want to Get shot.

Nice Job! Looks like the Rio Salado range in the background, is it? I work up the road designing future M72s and the prototypes came out black and pink. Not quite Marine-ready, but they wee just prototypes, right? 66mm isn’t really long range, but it’s damage is awesome.

Yes it is pretty to show off but lets be realistic… you want the pink to stand out because obviously you’re not worried about a sniper (we come across so many of those in America), and you want people to notice it and say, “Hey look at that rifle! That’s crazy (cool or dumb depending on the person’s opinion)!” Some people take guns too seriously. It’s a fun novelty item that’s meant to get attention, which this type of gun art definitely has. AR-15’s are super accurate if you know what your doing, so pink rifle or not, I wouldn’t want to be at the other end of the range with that badass girl loaded up. I’d love to check one out in person. Probably not what I’d do to my $2000 colt AR-15, but maybe a cheapy bushmaster for my future daughter. She can show it to her boyfriends (Feb 7, ‘09 post).

Sorry to be a downer here.. BUT. I just dont like it. paint your jeep like that or buy the backpack. That still is a weapon and the gun-grabbers want em… This kind of fun paint job just makes us (gun owners and shooters) look silly. PLUS, I agree with a previous poster that it makes a deadly weapon look like a toy… not so good if there are kids around. ALTHOUGH, my kids knew at very young ages that even toy guns were to be treated as if real and loaded…

I dont want to come across as an old fuddy-duddy (maybe too late)… but I think guns ARE serious and should always be treated seriously… IMHO

That is clearly NOT an assault rifle, as it has a Monster Man grip instead of a pistol grip.

    http://www.monstermangrip.com/

It may seem like a nit-pick, but assault rifles are banned in California, and if gun lovers can’t tell the difference, how are the gun banners and the press supposed to?
