Yuki-taro is a Japanese robot built to eat away all the heavy snow on the road. It measures about 5 feet long and 2 and half feet high. It has a GPS to find its way and a pair of camera to look around. Yuki-taro will turn those snows that he sucked in into ice bricks. Video after the jump.

The prototype has already won a design award, and doctored photos of it modified to look like the popular Pokemon character Pikachu have popped up online.
