School Zone is a concept crosswalk designed by Seungkyun Woo. It is specially made for school zones for students/pedestrian to cross the road in a more safety. School Zone comes in a series of elevated slabs to fit any length road. The raised level will alert the drivers that children are crossing the road and it also work as a bump forcing the drivers to slow down their vehicles. The elevation also gives benefit to wheelchair as it meets the exact height of the curb.

Each slab comes with a set of illuminated LEDs that work in tandem to direct foot traffic. They time themselves to pre-existing crosswalk signals and turn off one by one indicating time is running out.
