The Super Cooler for PC (updated)

November 23rd, 2007

Do you need a cooler? If yes, then take this idea, build your computer case covered with lots of fans. The one above consists of 66 fans – front, back, top, bottom and the left and right. Check out more pictures after the jump.

If that is not cool enough for you then use this. Hehe, don’t think it works, you are going to spoil it.

Thanks to Drew Broadley and t4ct1c47 readers for giving out more information on this 66 fans case mod (at the comments).

This case is modded by Peter Edge. It is made of case fans, Dexian shelving, nylon cable ties, terminal blocks, nylon motherboard mounts, backplane blanks, screws and wire.

It is installed on an Intel P4 3GHz Prescott CPU with MSI MS-6540 motherboard, 512MB DDR400 RAM, 40GB ATA HDD, and a 36xCDROM.

    Damn that must be noisy!!!

I like the positioning of the motherboard so its ports are on the front though. Might be a bit messy when the monitor, etc, is plugged in but still quite a good functional idea.

    What are the temps like?

It’s very curious that the screenshots in your article match the ones found on the below link which is an article about a Pentium 4 system cooled by many fans. the article is obviously many months old.

I suggest you brush up on your researching skills.

How the damn air gets IN? I think there’s a vacuum forming inside soon :-) I bet that the cooling performance of this machine is actually quite bad.

Hey guys, pls noted that this case is not from ProStreet. I was that ProStreet has been released, the game, but some other blogs were confused that ProStreet is a company that release the case.

Upgrade that P4 to a C2D and you can go back to the normal 3-5 case fans.

@DRAM, you can also turn fans around, so they suck air in. It would be rather stupid in any case to let them al blow out.

Cooler master suggested 2 inwards and 3 outwards for my case (ok, you havfe a CPU, 2 DRAM, 1 PSU, 2 HDD and 2 VGA coolers inside) but for the case air flow.

Hmm now i read my own post, i use 13 fans myself
