We’ll be celebrating Merdeka 50 tomorrow on the 31st August, the Malaysia Independence Day. Now, introducing the Malaysia made mobile phone from UMW E-Technologies, the Inobel 24k Merdeka 50 Limited Edition which is limited to 5000 units only. It runs on Triband (900/1800/1900 Mhz) network and comes with a 260k TFT display with 176 x 220 resolution, a 2.0-megapixel camera, 60MB internal memory, microSD slot that support up to 1GB, voice recorder, webcam capability and support the 3GP and MPEG 4 for video and MP3 for audio. The phone is available in two versions, the 24k and 16k gold embellished and they are priced RM2388 ($680) and RM1522 ($434). Full specification after the jump.
