It is an effects to your amp, comes with 300 custom presets dialed in by some of today’s hottest rock stars like Maroon 5, P.O.D, 311, Hoobastank and more. It is battery-powered and measures just about the size of a tuner. Besides using it as amp effects, you can plug in headphones and practice anywhere at anytime.

You can also connect to any computer via USB and download the free Vyzex software and “deep dive” into all your tone details to create your own custom tone.     Great, it is only a pity that a footcontroller would have to be 10 times as big as the effect. But still a nice change from a rack with a multifx and a pre-amp.
