It has a mirrored surface and metal body design, featuring a high resolution (176 x 220 pixels) 1.8-inch color TFT-LCD screen, lyrics display, 7 equalizer effects include a customizable USER EQ mode, voice recorder, FM radio and recorder, A-B repeat function, real time clock to display world times, and has a 13-language interface. T.sonic 840 is capable of playing MTV, JPG, BMP, MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM10, and WAV.

It measures 82 x 40.5 x 12.5mm, weighs 70 grams and a fully charged battery will last for 30 hours. The Transcend T.sonic 840 is available in 2GB in Glacier White color and 4GB in Mystery Black color.
