Audio Bone Aqua Waterproof Headphone

July 22nd, 2007

Morito is showing their new Audio Bone Aqua waterproof headphone at the Wireless Japan 2007. This headphone transmits music to brain through vibrations in the bones and skin tissues, not through eardrum. The sound vibrations can be sent directly to the cochlea through the skull. You will still wire on this device at this moment but soon you will get the wireless as the company now is working on the Bluetooth edition of this headphone. The Audio Bone Aqua headphone will be available by August for $80. One more pic after the jump.

We have been playing and testing the Audio Bone Headphones all weekend, and we’re just stoked. The best part was when mom realized she could hear in her bad ear with the headphones. Guess that bone conduction really does work like the video showed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P3Cy_ZtLS0
