Sheilas’s Wheels – the car insurer for women, has developed the Sheila Driving Heel. It is a heel shoes that can be folded down flat for safety driving purpose. Sheila Driving Heel has a grip pattern on the sole to add more grip to the pedal prevent from slipping off. According to Sheilas’ Wheels, over 11.5 million women drivers in the UK are putting themselves at risk by wearing the wrong footwear and most of the them admitted that they had car accident because of their shoes slipping off or get stuck between or under the foot pedal while driving which is very dangerous.
