Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1

Here’s a laptop from Toshiba, the Dynabook SS RX1 which weighs more of a UMPC. It’s only 19.5mm thick and incorporated with technologies like unit support structural design and Toshiba HDD protection to make sure your laptop runs perfectly even a 4 foot fall (video after the jump). Dynabook SS RX1 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 CPU at 1.06Ghz and features , 1 GB RAM, Intel 945 GMS Chipset with video, 12.1 inch WXGA display (1280 x 800), Fingerprint scanner, SD card slot, Wi-Fi etc. Videos after the jump.

Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 will be available late this month in Japan in three models; 220,000Yen ($1800) – 80GB hard drive / DVD writer, 250,000 Yen ($2054) – 80GB hard drive / HD-DVD drive and 380,000 Yen ($ 3125) – 64GB SSD drive / DVD writer (available in July)

    This laptop looks awesome! I like the hdd protection and the fingerprint scanner. This should be a sturdy and long lasting laptop.
