Don’s Solar Scooter

Here’s the solar bike created by Don Dunklee, a Rite-Aid store manager in Davison, Michigan. It took him 80 hours and $3,300 to build up this bike. Every day the owner will drive it to work which is about 10 miles trip. During commute, the 30-watt solar panel will be folded up to the side. When he arrives at his work place, the solar panel then unfolds to let it absorb power from the sun.
