LifeShirt Monitor Mental Illness

Psychiatric researchers at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine has developed a new device called “LifeShirt” to monitor patients with bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia. It is manufactured by VivoMetrics, monitors hyperactive and repetitive movements, and collects data on respiration, heart rate and other physiological measures. Find out more here.
