iPhone Clone the P168

April 19th, 2007

Familiar huh, it is a china mobile known as iPhone P168. It is a GSM 900 / 1800 Mhz mobile phone that comes with a 3-inch 262k color touchscreen-display, 0.8-megapixel camera (?) and six stereo speakers. Wow six speakers, I’m sure this phone is damn loud but not sure the sound quality. It is a dual SIM card phone, this phone allows you to receive calls from two different SIM card by switching the card (only one card active). Not sure about the internal memory but it has a TranFlash card slot with 256 MB memory included. You can pick up this P168 for $152.

Does the CECT P 168 (IPHONE CLONE) WORK IN THE US..(TMOBILE)???????????????24D20

  • michael

As I know, it cant, only support GSM900/1800 MHz.

I just got this phone and it is pretty cool.

Positives – Plays fullscreen video (widescreen).
Internet works (tmobile). Basic web, not sure if it is capable of browsing full sites and such like real Iphone. Sites do not display sideways like on iphone commercial.
    Loud speakers.
Cool looking. People have been asking me “is that an iphone” and I’m like no its a knock off and was only $175.
Battery life seems pretty good. More than 1 day with frequent use.

    Negatives
Somewhat difficult setup. had to manually enter in network info for internet.
Some of the english translations and other items are lacking such as the warning on the case of the phone looks like the broken english on a chopsticks wrapper and the keyboard screen takes some getting used to.
The manual is a complete joke.
Unless there are some accessories out there I can’t find yet it appears that you have to remove the battery from the phone in order to charge it. The “USB” port on the side of the phone is not a standard USB port but an odd shaped port that resembles but is smaller than a gameboy advance power port. If I find any accessories I will post again. If you have any questions write me back on here

    Dear Shawn:
No matter what Operator u choose, T-mobile or Vodafone, nevermind, it will works. Just need to choose the correct Network Frequncy. As I know, It only works in GSM 900/1800 MHz, so, if you live in USA, u can’t use it. Tell me what’s the network frequency in your country, so that we can provide u more assistance.
    Hope this make sense.
