The Folding Guitar

April 2nd, 2007

This is cool! The DeVillain Guitar Company has released a type of guitar than can be folded up and placed in your backpack when not in use, the Centerfold Guitar. You don’t have to take the strings out when you fold the neck of the Centerfold as the strings will be rolled up into the guitar but I’m sure you will still need to retune your guitar after unfold. With this, you will no more facing difficulties in carrying your guitar around and the guitar can be unfolded in just 20 seconds. The guitar will be available for $3370.

im a professional guitar player, and have been for ten or twelve years,. i think this is a stupid idea. you would have to replace strings every so often. there expensive too. the sound can not be as good either. plus the price is ridiculous. i can buy a top line jackson for half that, thats much nicer

That’s true. i play guitar too. Strings of Electric guitar are easier to break. Maybe for the rich will not have problem.

Yo dude I think this is a killer idea because it just sparked in my mind, and i wondering, “is there such an invention,” thats why i got on here, to look into it a little more. I had a complete different idea to keep the strings maybe in a better condition, but you would have to do some modifications to both the guitar and to the strings, but i’m not so sure you care too much, and I’m not so sure I would tell you haha. but anyways just maybe tell me what ya think…
