Introducing the Philips DCD778 Docking Entertainment System, it’s an under-cabinet multimedia player. It comes with an 8.5-inch widescreen LCD display and support audio and video playback from iPod, DVD, SVCD, MP3-CD, CD(RW) and Picture CD. Other features include built-in ATSC/NTSC TV tuner, digital AM/FM tuner, two 2-inch speakers, cooking timer and clock, and wireless remote. For the iPod, it is only compatible with 4th and 5th generation iPods, iPod mini and iPod nano. Philips DCD778 will be ships next week and priced approximately $400.
