EDY is an Electronic payment initiative for PlayStation 3. With EDY you’ll be able to make purchases on the PlayStation store easily via an IC card reader PaSoRi which can be to your PS3 via USB. To use, just insert your prepaid card.

EDY is compatible with firmware ver.1.5 and up, so you will need to upgrade before using this EDY. The ver.1.5 firmware is now available for download in Japan.
