Here’s the SD-H903A from Toshiba, it is the first HD-DVD writer for desktop PC’s. It is connected via Serial ATA interface. It features 8MB of buffer capacity and supports recording on dual/single layer HD DVD-R discs at 1X, DVD±R DL at 2.4X, DVD±R at 8X, DVD±RW at 4X, DVD-RAM at 3X, CD-R at 16X and CD-RW at 10X. It can read HD DVD-R at 1X, HD DVD-ROM at 2.4X, DVD at 8X and CD at 24X. Toshiba SD-H903A weighs 830g and Toshiba has started sample shipments of this SD-H903A. Pricing is still unavailable.
