Nikon announced its D40 in Japan, it comes in 6.1Mpix DSLR, a smaller and lighter case measures 126x64x94mm and 475g. D40 has a bigger screen 2.3” and supports up to ISO16000, SD cards (including SDHC). This new D40 has a new Auto Focus engine and a new GUI.
