Samsung and Sprint announced the availability of the thinnest clamshell phone in US, the Sprint Power Vision M610 by Samsung. With the speed of Sprint’s Power Vision(SM) EVDO network, the M610 by Samsung enables customers to access the latest news, music and entertainment content at broadband-like speeds. It features a large, crisp QVGA internal display, 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, advanced voice recognition and an external MicroSD memory card slot for memory expansion. It measures 3.98″ x 2.05″ x 0.47″ and weighs just 3.28 ounces. The M610 is now available online at www.sprint.com/thin and will be available in all retail channels on Dec. 3. Venturi Eclectic Car

Here’s the “Venturi Eclectic Car” which limited to just 200 units worldwide and it is touted as the world’s first ‘energy-autonomous’ vehicle. It’s slated for release in 2009. This car is equipped with a solar panel and a wind turbine so it can get power from the elements. It also comes with a plug for the recharging form the outlet. Mustang Giugiaro Concept

Ford has unveiled its Mustang Giugiaro concept, a one-off design study by Fabrizio Giugiaro, styling director of Italdesign. It’s powered by a supercharged version of the 4.6L 3-valve V8 from the Mustang GT which generates 500hp and the suspension has also been upgraded with new Dynamic-tuned dampers, lowered springs and anti-sway bars that ride on 20in wheels with 275mm tires at the front and huge 315mm rubber at the rear. Pretty slim, 13mm thin and features stainless steel frame that adds both design interest and strength. It comes with 16 million colors dual color 2.2 inch internal QVGA display and the external display at 128×160 pixels, 2.0-megapixel camera, memory expansion slot MicroSD, Bluetooth, media player and stereo speaker. Nokia 6290 will be available Q1 2007 and retail for 325 Euros ($425).

Hitachi HMP-G1 MP3 Player

Here’s the Hitachi HMP-G1 or i.µ’s a MP3 player. It comes in 1GB onboard flash memory with no external slot for memory expansion but 1GB should be enough to store your music that should be around 200 tracks or more. Supported media format include MP3, WMA and WMA DRM 10. It features a 128 x 64 pixel OLED display and supports up to 70 hours of Mic recording in mono. The Lithium Polymer battery will provides you 12 hours of continuous playback. It connects and charges using USB but only compatible in Windows only. It measures 80.7×29.8×14.3mm and weighs 36 grams. Hitachi HMP-G1 will be available in Japan this coming December 8 for 12,000 Yen ($ 100).

Nokia 6300

Nokia released its latest multimedia phone the Nokia 6300. At 13.1 thick, it packs a 2-inch QVGA display, 2.0-megapixel camera w/8x zoom, a microSD card slot, FM tuner, music player, and stainless steel casing. Nokia claimed that it’s 6300 last 3.5 hours of talk time and a standby time for 14 days. Due to ship in Q1 2007 for around €250 ($329/£169).
