Quanta Computer, the largest contract laptop PC maker in the world is going to make its own UMPC base on reference designed from Intel and Yahoo. This UMPC will be the company first foray into UMPC market and will runs in Intel’s Viiv technology, incorporating Go TV, Yahoo! photos, music, and miscellanous content. The OS of choice is Microsoft’s Windows XP Tablet Edition. Pricing and availability has not been announced but the Quanta UMPC comes with a QWERTY keypad. One more view…
