The ultraportable (3.0-pounds) D420 is Dell’s latest addition to its Latitude line, featuring an Intel Core Solo ULV U1300 (1.06-GHz) or Core Duo CPU (available late summer), 512MB DDR2-533 memory, 30GB hard drive, and a bright 12.1-inch widescreen display. External interfaces include three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, SD memory card reader, and a biometric fingerprint reader.
