Notebook's Windows SlideShow Secondary Display

June 12th, 2006

E-mail can be read only when a laptop is open, right? Microsofts proposed solution is SideShow. ASUSTek and PortalPlayer work together to design small screens on the outer body so you can read incoming messages or choose music without opening the case. This second interface uses very little power and operates even when the notebook is off. Windows SideShow will be supported by the Windows Vista operating system, launching this year.
