Sony Ericsson announced the 32-bit quad-band GC86 EDGE PC Card, It features an integrated antenna which is three times the speed of GPRS. The connection speed can goes up to 247kbps. For enhanced connectivity an optional external antenna is also available. It comes with a software in the installation CD which is compatible with Windows 2000 (SP4), XP (Pro,Home,Tablet) and Mac OS X. It weight only 42gram with the size of 85.6 x 54 x 5mm. Will be available globally in Q3 2006.
