Samsung Japan announced their new 19-inch LCD, the SyncMaster 940MG-R which features a screen ratio of 16:10, supported screen resolution up to 1440 x 900 (WXGA+), response speed of 8ms, screen brightness of 450cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 700:1. It has a 160-degree up,down,left and right angle visibility. More info after the jump.

For analog signal, it has a built-in mini D-Sub 15 pin and for digital signal it has DVI-D24 connector. Built-in 3Wx2ch Stereo speaker is also included. It weight 6.6kg with the size of 466 x 216 x 406mm. It is now on sale for the price of 79,800Yen which is about USD701.
