Pentax K100D and K110D Digital SLR Cameras

Pentax introduced two new models of its digital SLR cameras. The 6.1 mega pixel Pentex K100D and Pentax K110D, Along with the two new cameras, Pentax is also announcing the PENTAX DA 21mm F3.2 AL Limited wide angle lens. The only difference between two cameras is the Shake Reduction system from K100D. More info and pictures after the break.

It features an 11 point wide frame AF system, sensitivity control up to ISO 3200, 2.5 inch LCD with 210K pixels, 23.5 x 15.7 mm CCD, top shutter speed of 1/4000 second, SD memory card slot and 19 custom functions with 8 scene modes. It is powered by 4 AA-sized batteries and connected to the PC by using high-speed USB 2.0 connector.




Look for the K100D, with the smc 18-55mm lens in July 2006 for USD699 and the K110D with same lens for USD599 in August.
