Underwater David Blaine Record Breaking Failed

May 9th, 2006

Magician David Blaine failed to break the world record for holding his breath underwater on Monday which suppose to be eight minutes and 58 seconds. His failing nearly two minutes short of the record. Before that, he lived in the 8-foot sphere water-filled for a week which is nearly 177 hours.

Before trying for the record, 150 pounds of chains were attached to his Blaines body. He managed to free himself from all the chains attached to his wrists before the rescuers entered the sphere. After medical treatment, the doctor said he is totally fine. He is lucky enough not to get any strok while in the water.
