Globalsat announced yesterday the new BT-359, a next generation gps with Bluetooth 2.0 technology which is also a successor for BT-358. GlobalSat BT-359 utilizes the integrated SiRFStar III (WAAS and Egnos enabled) Low Power Chipset with 20-channel architecture for high sensitivity and fast acquisition.

With a new fresh and compact design BT-359 will be available in 3 different colours and with a large 1700 mAh Li-ion battery to provide estimated life of up to 11 hours on a single charge (against 14h of BT-338 model). The battery is also replaceable with a charge time of 4 hours.
Globalsat BT-359 will be available at about USD150.
