Alex Skiyar the man who took 15 years which is 10,000 hours just to complete this most sophisticated detailed model of the Mil-24 military chopper. He start it in the year 1986 in Kiev (Ukraine) and completed in Toronto, Canada in 2001. He used over 1000 photographs to ensure complete accuracy in the reproduction and over 100,000 parts to complete this modeling project.

This helicopter has many authentic features including: linked controls (pedals that work in parallel motion), a battery powered motor that spins the main and tail rotor in the actual ratio of the original, adjustable tail rotor pitch, fabric covered stabilizer, landing gear with pneumatic rubber tires, compressable shocks, working lights, locks ,fans, aimable guns and titanium engine part
