Asus Lamborghini Powerhouse Notebook

April 13th, 2006

Asus has signed a deal with Italian automobile maker Lamborghini to produce a line of notebooks that sport the car companys logo. The Lamborghini laptop line-up will include glossy black and yellow machines which, Asus claims, “with the look alone, exude power, speed, strength and beauty”. Apparently.

According to Asus, the VX1 – dubbed the “supernote” – will contain a 2GHz T2500 processor – alas not a top-of-the-line Core Duo – Intels 945PM chipset and the chip giants 3945ABG 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi adaptor. Its got 1GB of 667MHz DDR 2 SDRAM, a 120GB hard drive and a dual-layer DVD±R/RW optical unit.

The display, as expected, is a 15in screen, with a 1,400 x 1,050 resolution. Its driven by an Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 with 256MB of graphics memory, though it can grab 256MB more out of the main memory bank thanks to Nvidias TurboCache system. You know how much will it cost? Its about $3600. Thats really hot!

I totaly Disagree with the fact above. I do think Visitors is there for both the Notebook and the Car. Nothing Special? (how special you want it be?A notebook that can drive by itself?) You got to touch, and feel it, then only you will know. Not just by look at it. It’s a branded special notebook that Asus have made. Congratulations ya, keep up the good work.
