Cellebrite USA unveiled yesterday its Universal Memory Exchanger 36, or UME-36, a handheld gadget that performs a “brain transplant” from one cell phone to another. It works on any kind of phone (90%) across the world (GSM, CDMA, iDEN/Nextel and legacy TDMA). With just single press you can trasfer phonebook content, pictures, videos, ringtones, personal MP3s and SMS logs.

The UME-36 also supports Smartphones and PDAs, including RIM (Blackberry), Microsoft Mobile, Palm and Symbian. It have a features to save phone content for easy backup and retention of information in case of loss, damage or theft. Customers can back-up their mobile devices content to a USB Flash Drive or a remote server that enables content restoration.

Powered by Windows CE and it has 2 RJ-45 serial connection, 2 USB connection for USB phones, Infrared (IrDA) interface, embedded Smart Card and SIM card reader; Mini SD (Secure digital) card reader; Mini USB interface for connection to PC; and Ethernet/Internet port. It can be said the most complete set of brain cell which you need for your phone.
